Department of Biomedical Sciences (DBMS)
Its mission is in line with mission of Wachemo University and the main goal is to deliver quality education for all medical students. It is established in 2013 E.C. We have 270 medical students w/c is 160 2nd year and 110 3rd year medical students. Now, currently we have 12 lectures from this 5 Anatomist, 4 Biochemistry and 3 Physiology staff.
To produce qualified health professionals, Biomedical sciences department has well equipped laboratories in human anatomy, histology physiology and biochemistry.
